Deblina Ray is a promising young talent in Hindustani Classical Music. Being born in a musical family, she started her musical training at the age of 7 years under the guidance of Pt. Ram Prasad Ray, a disciple of Pt. Chinmay Lahiriji and Pt. Subhash Chakladarji. Deblina has also been training in Light Classical Music for the last four years under the direction of Smt. Suranjana Bose, a disciple of Padma Vibhushan Girija Deviji.

At a very young age of 13, Deblina received the National Scholarship from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. She bagged the First Prize in the All India Radio Music Competition in 2013 and various other competitions such as Shri Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Pratiyogita, 2016 in both Khayal and Thumri. She is a B-High grade artist on All India Radio. In 2018, she received the Scholarship from the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai, in Khayal. In 2019, she received the CCRT Scholarship given to the Young Musicians in Cultural field.

Deblina has demonstrated her musical competence at several instances in India and drew a potential footprint among music lovers. In her musical career, she has been blessed to get the opportunity to work under the banner of maestros of Hindustani Classical Music like Pt. Subhankar Banerjee, Pt. Kumar Bose, Pt. Abhijeet Banerjee, to name a few. Academically, she is an honors graduate in Economics and has completed her Master in Vocal Classical Music
